Akon Career (career.akontec.in) is operated by Akontec Synergy Pvt Ltd, Chennai, India. This policy explains what we collect and how we use it, in line with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

2. Data we collect

Account details (name, email, mobile), profile and resume information, job applications, and usage data such as pages viewed and device type.

3. How we use it

To show relevant jobs, share your profile with employers you apply to, send alerts you opt into, keep the platform safe and improve our services.

4. Sharing

Your resume is shared only with employers you apply to or, if you allow it, employers searching our database. We never sell personal data.

5. Your rights

You may access, correct or delete your data, withdraw consent and hide your profile from search at any time from settings or by writing to us.

6. Security & retention

Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Inactive accounts are deleted after 36 months unless the law requires longer retention.
